Tour of Holland with Caezar
I have just returned from a tour of Holland with Caezar. Having previously played a few gigs with Caezar, it was an absolute delight to be invited to play with them on their 5-day tour of Holland with Dutch songbird Elles Springs. Elles was launching her album in her hometown of Arnhem and, with both Elles and Caezar being signed to the Vertere Record Label, Caezar was the obvious choice to play alongside her during the launch.
After Elles' album launch in Arnhem, the tour proceeded to De Rijp, a beautiful little village in northern Holland. It's such a joy to play with top musicians such as Jinky and Joe; each gig is more enjoyable than the last one and the original songs they have crafted together are powerful and emotive.
The tour wrapped up in Breda, a larger city in the south of the country. This venue was undoubtedly the coolest - with a real circus/funfair vibe throughout it! At this gig I also had the great pleasure of playing a number with Elles and her band.
As the tour wrapped up, Caezar began to focus their attention on their album launch on July 21st in the Old Court, Windsor. Tickets available here; http://www.oldcourt.org/Sales/events/caezar/ticket
Caezar are also playing a homecoming gig in Glasgow's Oran Mor on Friday 27th July, for which tickets can be bought here; https://www.seetickets.com/event/caezar/oran-mor-glasgow/1211624
Also, a couple of days later at Kelvingrove Bandstand, Caezar are supporting little-known(!) band The Pretenders fronted by one Chrissie Hyde...I can't wait for that one!
